I'm excited to share that my third book - "New Cuts for New Quilts, More Ways to Stack the Deck - is now available! After two books, I am still stacking, cutting, and sewing fabrics together to make yet more fun quilts using my Stack the Deck method.

Don't get me wrong, I still and will always enjoy making the "canned quilts" -- the ones where the carefully chosen fabrics, precision cutting, and perfect seam allowance are a must. I still love and design many of these quilts for my business, Saginaw Street Company. However, the liberating design possibilities with the Stack the Deck method is so diverse in comparison and always provides unique and fabulous blocks. In addition to the freedom this process creates is the benefit of using lots and lots of different fabrics. Yeah! Also, every quilt is an original as there are no duplicates using this method. Some quilts will often reflect your mood for the day with quiet and straight cuts or wild and whacky ones and, of course, the style and colors of the fabric plays a role as well.
